Lenovo ThinkPad gets Android 4.0 ICS update



Lenovo ThinkPad
has finally started receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in the United States.

The ThinkPad was originally released with Honeycomb version of Googles Android operating system. However even after the latest update we can not say that the Lenovo tablet has been updated to the latest version of Android because Google recently launched Android 4.1 Jelly Bean the newest and most polished version of the popular Android operating system.

Posts over at the Lenovo ThinkPad tablet forums have confirmed the flavorsome Ice Cream Sandwich treat for the tablet owners. The update has been arriving over the air.

Owners of the device should see the Ice Cream Sandwich update any in the coming few d ays. If you can not wait more, you can manually head to settings, then about tablet, then check for the updates.

The Ice Cream Sandwich update brings a plenty of new features and enhancements, such as a more sophisticated user interface and enhanced performance. It also provides access to a number of Google new apps, such as Google Chrome.
