ViewSonic to unveil a 22-inch Android tablet

ViewSonic
is all set to make their debut with their eagerly awaited Android tablet on June 5th at Computex. With 10 inches being the standard size for most tablets, it is pretty clear that ViewSonic wants to break this barrier monstrously.

Earlier, ViewSonic had sent around a teaser for its Touch & Connect series prototypes that includes a 22-inch tablet monitor. It appears to be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is a first of its kind. The unveiling of this new tablet monitor is quite hyped since there is a big question mark as far as marketing is concerned as to whether a large monitor gadget can be considered as a portable tablet or not. Nevertheless, it is exciting to know that it will be running on Googles latest Android operating system. Details about the resolution of the display or the inputs it will process are still unclear.

A monitor running on the Android operating system will not come as a surprise as ViewSonic is well known for their innovative range of products. The device will also reportedly feature a Windows 8 multi-touch display, new cloud computing solutions, high-end laser projections along with some interactive billboards.
